rbcstudents Small Groups- Sunday, January 27th

We had a great Sunday this past week at rbcstudents.  We finished our "Entitled" series by talking to your students about where we find our contentment.  We saw some crazy (as well as disgusting) examples of different items people find contentment in.  We, as believers, should find our contentment in Christ, as well as encourage others to do so.  We often find our contentment in earthly things--whether it be in our friends, our grades, our family, etc...  If we're searching for contentment in things of the world, we will be constantly disappointed.  The only place we can find true contentment that will not fade or disappoint is in our Savior.

Hey all,
we had a great day with rbcstudents yesterday!  We are in week 3 of our series called "Entitled," dealing with the concept of feeling entitled to certain things.  We all struggle with this, and at its root, it is just plain selfishness.  In yesterdays lesson, we talked about the difference between confidence in our flesh, and confidence in God. We looked at Philippians 3, where Paul talks about his own reasons to feel confident, and yet, he gave it all up to find his confidence in Christ.  Take some time to read that passage...its a challenging one!  Have a great week!
