SMALL GROUPS: Sunday, March 3rd

Yesterday was such a wonderful day for us here at rbcstudents! We got to study God's Word with all of your amazing students in the morning... and even give away some DNOW discounts in the 9:00 & 10:30 intros! THEN... we got to play some Laser Tag with them... We couldn't have asked for a better day! To recap what we talked about in the morning... we spent time in Luke, chapter 3.  We talked about the start of Jesus' ministry, and how He spent 40 days fasting in the desert.  How many of you or your students could go that long without eating or drinking? If someone offered you something to eat or drink at the end of that, would you be tempted to take it... even if you knew it was wrong? That's exactly how Satan tempted Jesus in the desert... Jesus was weak and hungry, and Satan tempted Him with what He needed most.  That's how the enemy works.  He hits us at our weakest, most vulnerable place... and he uses what we need most to tempt us.  We discussed this in depth yesterday in our small groups.  We also talked about repentance, and while we as believers, though saved, still need to live a life of ongoing repentance.  Thank you for letting us study God's Word with all of your students!
